Uganda/Ireland: 20th Anniversary Of Violent Death Of Fr Declan O’Toole MHM
Kotido, Uganda – East Africa.
On the 21st March 2002 Fr. Declan was shot dead together with his driver Patrick Longoli and his cook Fidelis Longole while travelling on their way home from a peace meeting within the territory of his mission.
Fr. Declan’s cause has been opened since October 2014 for Beatification by Most Rev. Dr. Giueppe Filippi, M.C.C.I, Bishop (Emeritus) of Kotido, Uganda.
