From 2005 to 2009, he served as the Chairperson of University Staff Tribunal, Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
From 1998 to date he has led a successful practice as the Managing Partner of his law firm, M/s Tibaijuka & Co. Advocates.
From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a Partner in M/s Katureebe, Twinomukunzi & Co. Advocates.
From 1990 to 2015, he delivered various professional papers as a Guest Speaker to the Bar Course Students at the Law Development Centre.
From 1990 to date, he has served as External Examiner of law at a Post Graduate Bar Course at the Law Development Centre.
From 1990 to 1996, he served as a Partner in M/s Owiny-Dollo, Tibaijuka & Co. Advocates, Lecturer in Law at Progressive Accountancy Centre, External Examiner of law at a Post-Graduate institution.

He wrote Introduction to Law for law students at National College of Business Studies (now MUBS), a modified version of which was later published by N.A. Saleemi for CPA students.
He has presented Papers on Civil Procedure for use by Bar Course Students and Legal Practitioners.
