Pious is a partner at Lex Uganda Advocates & Solicitors. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all Courts of Judicature. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Trade Policy and Law (Uganda Martyrs University) and a postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Uganda Law Development Centre.

Pious, having worked with DFCU Bank Limited specialized in the areas of banking, corporate finance, debt finance and management; and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in commercial and corporate litigation.

He is the head of the banking and Finance department of the Firm.
