Overview

Kizza Arnold Luminsa is a passionate and dynamic legal scholar with a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact through the law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours, Second Class Upper Division, from Uganda Christian University. During his academic journey, Kizza developed a strong foundation and cultivated a keen interest in a wide range of legal fields, including Intellectual Property Law, Labour Law, Cyber Law, Banking & Negotiable Instruments, Revenue Law & Taxation, Oil & Gas Law, Environmental Law, Tort Law, Criminal Law, Forensics, Human Rights, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Throughout his undergraduate years, Kizza gained both theoretical knowledge and practical insights that shaped his approach to legal practice. He furthered his expertise by pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (The Bar Course) at the Law Development Centre in Uganda, a program that refined his skills and prepared him for a career in advocacy and legal practice.

Kizza further advanced his legal career by pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Dar Es Salaam (UDSM). Through this program, he is deepening his understanding of international law and expanding his perspective on regional and global legal issues.

In addition to his formal education, Kizza has always been deeply passionate about helping others. He has actively participated in a range of legal and social projects, working with diverse groups of individuals. These experiences have not only broadened his understanding but have also strengthened his ability to connect with people from various backgrounds. His dedication to justice and the rule of law is unwavering.

Kizza strongly believes that true change can only be achieved through collaboration and collective effort. Guided by compassion and determination, he is committed to bringing about sustainable and positive transformations in society. He is driven by the firm belief that individuals, organizations, and communities of goodwill have the power to create a better world, founded on fairness, equity, and opportunity for all.

As Kizza continues to grow both professionally and personally, he is guided by a deep sense of faith and purpose. He remains committed to contributing to a just and equitable society, one that is grounded in integrity, service, and respect for human dignity.

    Teaching Business Law and General Principles of Law to students across various disciplines, focusing on foundational legal knowledge essential for commerce.
  2. Apprentice: ABSA Bank Uganda, Kampala, 05/06/2024 – 18/10/2024:
    Evaluated and approved credit applications, managed repayments, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Legal Trainee: AF Mpanga Advocates, Kampala, 07/08/2023 – 27/10/2023:
    Assisted in drafting legal documents, attending court sessions, and providing corporate secretarial support.
  4. Legal Trainee: Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), Kampala, 20/04/2022 – 27/09/2022:
