He is Senior Counsel. He is a former President of Uganda Law Society (1996 – 1998). He is a former President of East Africa Law Society. He was instrumental in the establishment of the East Africa Law Society and the purchase of Uganda Law Society’s first plot of land at Kabaka Anjagala in Kampala. He is a Board Member of Uganda National Examinations Board. He is a Founder and Managing Partner of M/s Mugisha & Co. Advocates.
