Brief Overview And Experience
He is a well exposed legal practitioner who began his legal practice with M/s Mugisha & Co. Advocates 14 years ago before he joined Uganda Broadcasting Corporation as a Legal Officer where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Corporation Secretary.
His long term experience has helped him horn a lot of experience in Corporate practice, Corporate Governance, Company Compliance issues, Board business and also exposed him to colleagues in Government and Government departments.
As part of his work, he developed a Board Charter for the Corporation and was involved in significant, large-scale transactions like the Digital Migration project contract, a public private partnership for Construction of 100 residential villas with Pinnacle Projects.
As private practitioner, he is a company secretary to numerous high profile companies in Uganda and has developed board charters for them in addition to corporate practice advisory work.

- Provided legal advice on legal and regulatory framework of the Corporation.
- Developed a Board Charter for the Corporation.
- Negotiated and drafted wide range of contracts including transmission site acquisition contracts, turnkey contracts for installation of masts and transmission equipment, rental/ leasing contracts for transmission masts, construction contracts.
- Ensured the Corporation compliance with the industry’s legal and regulatory framework.
