He is a Ugandan professional journalist; trained as a Journalist and Lawyer. He went to both his Journalism and Law Schools at Makerere University, Uganda’s best and biggest University of higher learning. He also studied media and communications from the US, the Netherlands, Kenya and Ethiopia. Charles has been a recognizable face and voice on Uganda’s premier television and radio shows, especially for the last 10 years.

He started a leading TV show called The Frontline on NBS TV;

• He once hosted the very popular “NewsNight” program on NTV Uganda.
• He was a panelist on the Friday panel of Journalists on KFM.
• He has also hosted talk-shows on “The Capital Gang”, on Capital Radio.
• He then started “Behind the Headlines”, on UBC TV, which is Uganda’s Public Broadcaster, where he moderates a Current Affairs TV talk-show every Wednesday, at 10pm.

He is currently studying a Masters of Institutional Management and Leadership course at the Uganda Management Institute in Kampala.

Charles has great interests in broad Policy debates; with specific biases towards Development Journalism, Good Governance, Accountability as well as Inclusive and Equitable growth for the common man!
